The Model 200 is also the only approved office machine that is practical for destroying key tape in quantity (2 or more canisters per month). It will destroy key tape by the handful, not just a segment at a time.

The SEM 200 series disintegrators have been evaluated by NSA and meets the requirements of NSA/CSS specification 02-02, high security disintegrators and NSA/CSS 04-02, optical media destruction devices.

This SEM disintegrator has been designed to accommodate materials typically not acceptable to a standard paper shredder. With thruput rates up to 100 lbs/hr., this unit is NSA approved for the destruction of all levels of classified paper documents and optical media (CDs/DVDs). With an optional 5/64" screen, the Model 200 disintegrator is also NSA/CSS 04-01 approved for key tape destruction.

The Model 200 Marine also has the flexibility to destroy a variety of other media and/or other items to CUI and/or privacy act (unclassified) level destruction such as: Blu-ray discs , ID badges, key access cards, microfilm, view graphs, floppy disks, audio cassettes, plastic credit cards, SIMM cards, thumb drives, etc.
